site.btaGovernment Approves Draft Memorandum of Cooperation between Bulgaria, Albania

The caretaker cabinet approved Wednesday draft Memorandum of Cooperation between Bulgaria and Albania. It envisages joint construction of energy links between the two countries, along with increasing transport and digital connectivity as part of the European Corridor VIII.

The document also provides for the deepening of mutual contacts between the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania.

The cooperation envisaged in the document also includes exploring opportunities for joint initiatives, exchange of best practices and expertise in the field of green transition and green technologies to achieve the 2050 climate neutrality target.
