Ivan Geshev: “Gold Bars” Case Shows that Myth of Omnipotent Prosecutor General Is Political Attack
There is an ongoing check by the Appellate Prosecution Office of Sofia on how pre-trial proceedings for the so-called "gold bars" were terminated on May 10, Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev told BTA on Saturday. In his words, this case shows that the myth that the prosecutor general in Bulgaria is omnipotent is a political attack and does not correspond to the legal regulations in the country.
