Bulgarian Land Forces Troops Involved in Exercise Anakonda 2016 in Poland

Sofia, June 7 (BTA) - More than 230 service persons with 50 units of combat, transport and special-purpose equipment of the Bulgarian Land Forces are taking part in multinational Exercise Anakonda 2016 (AN16) within the territory of Poland between June 7 and 17, the Bulgarian Defence Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.

Some 25,000 military from 22 countries are involved in AN16. The purpose of the exercise is to enhance interoperability between elements of NATO Member States, Partnership for Peace countries and Black Sea region countries, the press release specified.
