September 12 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met
with the governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner, the
Council of Ministers' press centre said on Thursday. Borissov
praised the excellent relations between the two countries.

"Johanna and I have been friends for many years, she has been at
 our border. Bulgaria is a country that has zero migration due
to all measures taken in compliance with all European rules,"
said the Prime Minister.

The two politicians discussed ideas regarding the future of the
Western Balkans and the region, as well as Bulgaria's interest
in increasing investments from Lower Austria, especially in
projects with high production and high-tech value. "There are
many Austrian investors in Bulgaria with a huge commodity
turnover," the PM noted.

Borissov expressed interest in intensifying cooperation in the
field of digitalization of the economy, implementation of
innovations and information technologies. RY/DT
