Sofia, July 12 (BTA) - The Health Ministry is re-opening night
clubs on Monday after closing them for indoor visits earlier
this week, Deputy Health Minister Jenny Nacheva told a briefing
on Sunday. Representatives of the Health Ministry and the
night-club industry decided to allow night clubs to operate both
outdoors and indoors with one person per square metre and
strict compliance with the disinfection and distancing
requirements.
Gatherings such as weddings, christenings and family parties are
also allowed, provided the distance between guests is 1.5
metres and disinfection rules apply.
Richard Alibegov of the Bulgarian Association of Restaurants
argued for the re-opening, saying that night clubs are the only
closed outlets now, and they have a work force of 80,000. NV/DD
