Foreign Ministry Condemns Attacks on Yemen Mosques

Sofia, March 21 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry on
Saturday condemned the terrorist attacks in Yemen's capital
Sanaa which killed 140 civilians and wounded over 350 others
during Friday's prayers in several mosques in various parts of
the city.

Offering condolences to the bereaved, the Foreign Ministry
expressed "profound indignation at the use of aggression and
violence to address confessional, tribal and political
differences."

The Ministry urged Yemen's society, political parties and
participants in the National Dialogue to normalize the domestic
political process and get back to the negotiating table. "The
big challenges confronting the nation should be addressed using
the instruments of constructive dialogue and political pluralism
in order to preserve the country's territorial integrity and
establish stability and security," the statement said.
