site.btaKazanlak to Host Exhibition Celebrating Women's Strength

The Cultural Information Centre in the town of Kazanlak will host an exhibition titled "Awakening Between the Lines" and organized by the Women of Kazanlak association, the organization’s chairperson, Stela Kehayova, told BTA. The exhibition will run between September 3 and 16.

It will showcase impactful visual art inspired by stories of women's strength, Kehayova said. The exhibition will feature artworks by 23 Bulgarian artists united in their mission to present their visual interpretation of stories written by #WomenSurvivors, she added. The initiative is part of a series of art projects by the Emprove Foundation, which campaigns against violence against women. 

The exhibition is visiting Kazanlak at the invitation of the local association and is made possible with the support of Kazanlak Municipality.
