Foreign Minister Mitov to
Attend EU Foreign Affairs
Council Meeting in Brussels


Sofia, May 22 (BTA) - Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov will attend
a Monday meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels,
the Foreign Ministry said Sunday.

The Council will focus on the EU regional strategy for Syria and
 Iraq as well as the ISIL/Da'esh threat, and is expected to
adopt conclusions.

The ministers will also discuss the external aspects of
migration. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and
Security Policy Federica Mogherini will brief them on the EU
global strategy, which is intended to guide the European Union's
 global actions in the coming years.
