site.btaNational Festival of Adolescent Theatre Arts to Take Place in Kazanlak

The second National Festival of Children's and Adolescent Theatre Arts will take place from April 26 to April 29 in Kazanlak, the organisers from the Iskra - 1860 People's Community Center Kazanlak said on Wednesday. 

The event, called Theatrical Sparks, will once again be held under the auspices of Kazanlak Mayor Galina Stoyanova, under the motto Art - Flame of Imagination and Personality. The deadline for submitting applications is March 15, after which a committee will select the best performances to be included in the festival program. All productions will have free entry, the organisers said. 

In the first edition of the festival in April 2023, more than 250 children and adolescents from 15 Bulgarian towns took part and presented their performances to the Kazanlak audience. For the 2024 edition of the festival two workshops are planned, as well as a presentation of the activities of various programs for the personal development of young people.
