site.btaSofia to Host 4th Edition of Powers Summit Tuesday

The fourth edition of Powers Summit, which brings together representatives of the government, political forces and business for a discussion on the main challenges and opportunities for Bulgaria, will be held at Sofia Tech Park on Tuesday, the organizers said.

The event is organized by the Webit Foundation and Digital National Alliance Bulgaria. The main topics this year are: Energy;
Health and Demography; Finance; Entrepreneurship; and Education and Vision for the Future: Bulgaria 2050.

The Energy panel will discuss, among other things, connectivity and energy saving projects.

Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov will join the Leaders Talk international panel and the I Hear You ministerial session. Challenges facing the energy sector in the transition to low-carbon production, connectivity, regional cooperation, and the security and diversification of energy resources will be on the agenda, Malinov's ministry said.

The Health and Demography panel will look at the risks and opportunities for Bulgarian healthcare.

The Finance panel will focus on  investments and social security, and the development of the three-pillar pension model.
