site.btaCaretaker Cabinet Aims to Preserve All Key Parameters of State Budget, Deputy Finance Minister Danovski Says

Attending a Bulgarian Council for Economic Analyses event on "How do tax rates affect taxable income in Bulgaria?" in the Council of Ministers, caretaker Deputy Finance Minister Martin Danovski stressed that preserving all key parameters of the state budget is one of the caretaker cabinet’s main tasks.

These are debt- and inflation-related parameters, as well as parameters related to the country's accession to the euro area, the Deputy Minister said, answering a reporter's question.

In his words, Bulgaria is in the second phase of the 2025 budget procedure, in which different options and simulations of the state budget are being evaluated.

Danovski also said that the caretaker government is committed not only to conduct fair elections, but also to maintain all the state budget’s parameters adopted by previous parliaments.
