site.btaPamporovo Reports One of Its Most Successful Ski Seasons

One of Bulgaria’s top ski resorts had one of its most successful seasons last winter. The flow of tourists to Pamporovo, in the Rhodope Mountains, increased by 25% compared with a year earlier, the resort’s public relations manager Alexandra Tsankova said on Tuesday.

The increase reinforced Pamporovo’s status as a leading ski destination for Bulgarian and foreign tourists, she said.

The tourist summer at Pamporovo will open officially on June 20, when the five-star Perelik Hotel, the Pamporovo Bike Park and the Yazovira Adventure Park will welcome their first visitors for the season. The Perelik will host a medical conference on June 26-27.
