Topical issues of economic development in Europe and the world with a focus on the economic challenges facing the countries of the region in terms of price and financial stability were discussed during a meeting between Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Governor Dimitar Radev and National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia Governor Anita Angelovska Bezhoska, Central Bank's press centre said on Monday.

The two were adamant that for the strict implementation of the central banks' commitments it is crucial that they work as professional and independent institutions.

Both sides expressed their willingness for the good cooperation between the two central banks to continue in the future, BNB added.
