Bulgarian Elitsa Krumova has been appointed a senator to represent Bulgaria in the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF), part of the G20. As of April 20, 2024, Krumova represents Bulgaria at the Forum's Grand Assembly. Bulgaria's inclusion in WBAF provides a wide range of opportunities for start-up, growing and fast-growing companies in Bulgaria and opens doors for economic development, Krumova told BTA.

Elitsa Krumova is a Thought Leader and B2B Technology Influencer with significant contributions in technology and marketing. She is the first and only Bulgarian woman to appear in international rankings for Thought Leaders, B2B influencers and technology influencers. She has won awards for best services in B2B influencer marketing for 2024, best entrepreneur in thought leadership, among others.

Krumova will be presented with the Best Tech Influencer 2024 award at the Global Women Leadership Awards 2024 in Dubai in June.

WBAF's goal is to collaborate globally to accelerate the world's economic development by promoting innovative financial instruments for start-up and growing companies, innovators, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to promote gender equality and women's participation in all sectors of the global economy, Krumova said.

WBAF carries out its mission through various countries and channels, which include 138 senior commissioners, senators and international partners from 79 countries; seven country offices on five continents; WBAF Business School with more than 50 faculty from 32 countries; five international working committees; an investment fund, partnerships with 12 global institutions and economic cooperation agreements with 5 governments, Krumova explained.
