Bulgarian basketball national and Olympiacos Piraeus forward Aleksandar Vezenkov achieved a personal best in the men’s EuroLeague, registering the third-best individual single-game performance in the tournament's history as his Greek team crushed Germany's Bayern Munich by 112:69 (28:14, 23:23, 27:20, 34:12) in a Round 20 game of the regular season.

Vezenkov scored a career-high 45 points (10/10 2pt, 8/10 3pt, 1/1 ft), along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal, achieving a Performance Index Rating (PIR) of 52.

The individual scoring record in a EuroLeague game is still held by Nigel Hayes-Davis, who scored 50 points for Fenerbahçe against Alba Berlin in the spring of 2024. Five years earlier, Shane Larkin had scored 49 points for Anadolu Efes against Bayern Munich. Vezenkov now ranks third in this EuroLeague’s all-time scoring list with 45 points.
