The Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) has initiated proceedings under the Public Procurement Act following a complaint by the Spanish company Patentes Talgo Sl, the CPC said on its website on Thursday.

The complaint is against a decision by the Ministry of Transport and Communications to supply 20 single-deck zero-emission electric push-pull trains. The trains can run at 200 km/h and have a minimum seating capacity of 300.
