Bulgarian Posts received an award from the Quality of Service Fund (QSF) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for its remarkable achievements in implementing service quality projects, the national postal operator said on Tuesday.

Bulgarian Posts was honoured for a project to speed up the processing of incoming international packages by acquiring new equipment. The USD 1,149,494 undertaking was supported with USD 1,107,494 from QSF.

QSF confers its awards on postal operators which show tangible improvement of service quality, assessed on the basis of quality goals and effectiveness indicators.

UPU thanked Bulgaria for setting a positive example and driving the postal sector forward, the press release said.
