I am extremely pleased that only a year and a half, after entering the Bulgarian market, a company like Nidec, which has become an emblem of quality and functionality on a global scale, has taken a new step towards permanent establishment in our country, President Rumen Radev said in a congratulatory address on the occasion of the official opening of the group's new subsidiary in Bulgaria – Nidec Instruments.
The greeting was read on Monday by Lyubomir Stanislavov, Executive Director of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria.
Official guests at the event were Japanese Ambassador Hisashi Michigami, Georgi Angelov, caretaker Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, senior representatives of the Nidek group.
President Radev congratulated the investor for making a proper assessment of the great potential for deploying research and development that Bulgaria has thanks to its young and highly educated talent, as well as to the well-developed information infrastructure.
"I am convinced that investments of companies of your rank bring high added value and contribute to the sustainable transformation of the country into a hub for innovation in the region for Southeast Europe," the president said in his congratulatory address.
