We Make Future Startup Roadshow Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the first Bulgarian competition that is part of the We Make Future's (WMF) roadshow for startups were announced here on Friday. The event is organized by the Italian media group Search On and supported by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency .

The winner of the first competition for Bulgaria was the start-up Kikimora.IO, the jury awarded second place to Payware, and the Nploy company won the third prize.

Two additional awards were also presented. The first went to Tube Plant and the second to Brain Sports.

A total of 40 start-ups applied for the competition. From these, representatives of the We Make Future platform determined the 12 participants in the competition, which included a presentation of the company and its project, as well as an interview with the members of the seven-person jury.

The top-performing startups receive access to WMF Bologna 2024, the opportunity to present at the Bulgarian stand, and a number of meetings with investors during the show.

The WMF International Trade Fair for Innovation, Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence will take place this year from 13 to 15 June. Participants in the last edition, according to the organizers, numbered 60,000 people, with 1,000 speakers from 89 countries and the presence of more than 2,000 emerging companies and investors.
