site.btaRyanair Launches Flights from Sofia to Alicante, Copenhagen

Direct flights to two new destinations will be operated from Sofia in 2024, the airport announced on its Facebook page. The new routes will be to Copenhagen, Denmark and Alicante, Spain. They will be operated by Ryanair from March 31 to October 26.

Flights to Copenhagen will be available five times a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. From April 1 to October 25, flights will be operated between the Bulgarian capital and Alicante. In April and May they will be twice a week - Monday and Friday, and then three times a week - Monday, Friday and Sunday.

Flights to both destinations are also operated by Wizz Air with the winter flight schedule.

According to Ryanair, for the holiday period from December 21 to January 6, the most frequent destinations for Bulgarians are the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain and Austria.
