The legislative proposal for the termination of the concession of the Rosenets oil port has been drafted by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and GERB, MP Delyan Peevski told journalists in Parliament on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day CC-DB co-leader Kiril Petkov said that the group will table a proposal for termination of the concession of the Rosenets oil port. After that GERB leader Boyko Borissov said that at a meeting with the representatives of CC-DB and the MRF the proposal has been made by GERB-UDF, Democratic Bulgaria and the MRF.
Asked whether the MRF will back the initiative, Peevski said that this is an initiative which they prepared together with GERB. Democratic Bulgaria backed it immediately, but Continue the Change hesitated.
The MP said that under the proposal within one week after the amendments are adopted, the concession will be terminated. He said that through Lukoil the war in Ukraine is financed. According to Peevski this should end because the state has to have full control over the company. “A private company cannot own a door in state border, said Peevski.
