site.btaRegional Development Ministry Withdraws Legal Amendments Seeking to Legalize Non-Compliant Infrastructure Construction Projects

Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Andrey Tsekov said during blitz control in the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy, Public Works and Local Self-Government that illegal construction is one of the main problems his Ministry has to tackle. He said that the proposal for amendments to the Spatial Development Act, which provides for facilities built without building permits to be declared permissible, will be withdrawn.
