Margarita Omar's exhibition "The Haunted Boudoir of Madame O" will be on at the Cryptid Art Space gallery in Sofia from March 29 to April 11, the organizers said.

The exhibition will immerse visitors in the abandoned boudoir of a mysterious lady named Madame O, whose glamorous life has gradually been consumed by the shadow of her tortured soul. "The abandoned boudoir represents a curated selection of artworks from Madame O's personal collection. The mysterious paintings, possessed by the inner demons of their owner, will give you a glimpse into the twisted depths of her consciousness," the organizers say. Through artistic symbolism, the works reveal fragments of a life slowly devoured by madness and despair.

Margarita Omar is a visual artist interested in outsider art and dark aesthetics. Her visual world abounds in themes related to the supernatural, the mystical and the grotesque. She graduated in Musical Informatics from the Conservatoire de Luxembourg. In addition to working on her solo experimental music project, Gare Terminus, she is also part of post-punk duo In the Red.
