Two-time Grammy winner Diana Krall has added Bulgaria to her world tour. The concert will take place in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture on October 30, according to the organizers, BG Sound Stage.

Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. She has won ten Juno Awards and has nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums. Her 1999 release of When I Look in Your Eyes spent 52 weeks in the #1 position on Billboard's Jazz chart, BG Sound Stage added. 

In 1993, Montreal-based Justin Time Records released Krall's debut album, Stepping Out. The following year, she signed with GRP Records. Krall’s success continued with her subsequent releases All for You and Love Scenes, but her watershed moment came in 1999 with the release of kroll.

The Look of Love continued her international success and became a Top 10 seller on the Billboard 200. Her album Turn Up the Quiet won two Juno Awards. On Love Is Here To Stay, she collaborates with her longtime friend and colleague Tony Bennett. The duet tracks include Love Is Here to Stay, ‘S Wonderful, and They Can’t Take That Away From Me, among others.

Krall’s most recent release, This Dream of You, which features Autumn in New York, has garnered critical acclaim from fans and press alike.

Throughout her musical career, the jazz diva has collaborated with top jazz, pop, and soul artists, including Paul McCartney, Barbara Streisand, and Michael Buble. 

Krall is widely known to the Bulgarian audience for much of her musical catalogue. Almost Like Being in Love, Temptation, California Dreamin', The Look of Love, Besame Mucho, Let's Fall in Love, and Fly Me to The Moon are among the songs two generations of jazz fans in Bulgaria have grown up with.
