Veliko Tarnovo Municipality can now process alerts from residents in real time with a new mobile application, the press centre of the municipal administration said on Thursday.

Thanks to the new application, residents can report irregularities and problems related to infrastructure and repair works, urban transport, parking, traffic lights, pollution, vandalism, and stray dogs, to mention only a few. Each alert allows for capturing and attaching a photo directly from the camera of the mobile phone, as well as automatic localization, the Town Hall said.

Each alert is directed to municipal employees responsible for receiving, reviewing and processing it in a timely manner. The processed alerts are visualized on an interactive map. Residents can track their processing and receive notifications when the status changes.

The app offers optimized communication and active dialogue with local people, and encourages active participation in public life. It allows alerts to go directly to the units and institutions that must react, thus optimizing the work processes for resolving each problem.
