Bulgaria will be welcoming Nick Cave for the first time after more than four decades of an impressive musical career, organizers from the Fest Team announced Monday.

One of the most important artists worldwide will perform on the stage of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv on August 19, 2025.

"Without a doubt, this will be one of those concerts that offers the audience a cathartic experience that reveals the shadiest recesses of the soul with Nick Cave's uncompromising stage presence, piano and his songs in their raw and minimalist form", organizers said. "The tour's setlist features music from Cave's rich and timeless catalogue, from the discography of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to his solo projects".

He is accompanied on stage by Colin Greenwood. Known not only for his bass lines in Radiohead - a band that has sold over 30 million albums and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - but also for his work outside of music. He is also a writer and photographer. In 2024 he published How To Disappear - A Portrait of Radiohead, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the life of one of the world's most influential bands.

The concert in Bulgaria is part of a limited European tour that has been going on since 2024 and has already received extremely successful reviews from the public and the media.
