The Culture Ministry has announced a competition for curatorial project that will represent Bulgaria in the 19th International Architecture Biennale in Venice. The announcement follows a government decision of August 22, 2024, the Culture Ministry said late last week.
The 19th International Architecture Biennale will be held from May 10 to November 23, 2025.
The deadline for application submission is at noon on December 2, 2024.
The competition is open to Bulgarian and foreign individuals and legal entities, who can participate on their own or as an association. Applicants should have professional qualifications, position and knowledge of the specifics of contemporary Bulgarian architecture.
Only one project proposal from a person is allowed.
The projects will be reviewed by a seven-member jury and a chairperson.
