Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said here Wednesday that efforts are being made to speed up the negotiations and payments under the Recovery and Resilience Plan, as well as EU-funded operational programmes. The meeting also highlighted better financial management of the EU budget and challenges related to the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework. Ivanova emphasized that Bulgaria is one of the few countries with no errors in implementing the EU agricultural budget for the past year, setting an example for efficient use of EU funds.
In the coming months, an official visit by Iliana Ivanova to Bulgaria is being planned.
