The seventh edition of the Water Festival for Contemporary Art will be held from September 24 to 29 in Burgas, said the press centre of Burgas Municipality on Thursday.

The festival will present works by Bulgarian and international authors in various artistic genres, including dance and theatre, installation, sound design and video art. Residents and visitors of the city will have the opportunity to see 3D projections by the Romanian visual artist ADISTU on the Burgas Pantheon in the Sea Garden and on the High School Petko Rosen.

All events of the festival programme will be with free entry, with most of them to take place in an urban environment.

The Water Festival for Contemporary Art is organized by the Dance BG Association, with the support of Burgas Municipality, the Culture Ministry and the List Hungarian Cultural Institute Sofia. In the six editions of the festival so far, over 200 artists from Germany, France, Latvia, Hungary, Moldova, South Korea, Japan and Bulgaria have presented their works, turning urban areas in Burgas into spaces for art and culture.
