site.btaParliament Bans Sale of Vapes to Minors

Parliament passed conclusively amendments to the Child Protection Act, imposing a ban on the sale, distribution and use of vapes to minors. All the 140 MPs who attended Thursday’s sitting voted in favour of the decision.

The bill was tabled by GERB-UDF MP Kostadin Angelov.

At the suggestion of Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria MP Stoyu Stoev, an additional text prohibiting the advertising of vapes on radio and television was added to the bill.
