Continue the Change (CC), Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) and the Yes, Bulgaria movement signed Thursday a coalition agreement to participate in the October 27 parliamentary elections, CC said in a press release. The coalition will keep its name Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB).

CC-DB say their representatives will work to make Bulgaria a worthy partner in the EU and NATO, and a member of the Schengen area and the eurozone.

The three formations’ aim is to develop Bulgaria as a country with a competitive, innovative economy and a high standard of living. According to the agreement, the leaders of the three parties commit to work for equality before the law for all and an independent judiciary, to overcome regional and social inequalities, as well as for the peace and security of every Bulgarian citizen.

CC-DB claim that they will work to stop the institutions’ racketeering and create a free business environment, to preserve Bulgarian nature and to achieve a socially just transition to a low-carbon economy.

Among the coalition's goals are Bulgaria's energy independence, national security and modernization of the Bulgarian army, as well as preservation of cultural and historical heritage and development of modern Bulgarian culture.
