Students from across Bulgaria won 20 prizes in the national round of the 13th National German Language Competition organized by the Klett Bulgaria Publishing House. The competition is held in two rounds: at the school and national levels.

More than 250 students from 72 schools across the country participated. Among the schools whose students achieved excellent results and snatched more than one medal, were the Bertolt Brecht Language School in Pazardzhik, the Acad. Lyudmil Stoyanov Foreign Language High School in Blagoevgrad, and Sofia High School of Mathematics, the organizers said on Thursday.

The Klett National German Language Competition follows the model of certificate exams and is open to students at A1 to C1 levels.

Klett Bulgaria’s marketing expert, Paolina Andreeva, congratulated the students who had taken part in the competition. She also praised their teachers for their relentless efforts to impart their knowledge.

Traditionally, the national round of the competition was hosted by the Ekzarh Yosif I Foreign Language High School in Lovech. The winners will be awarded at an official ceremony on April 13, 2024, in Sofia. In addition to prizes for the award-winning places, certificates of participation will be handed out to all students who took part in the national round of the competition.

Klett Bulgaria, a leading educational publishing house in Bulgaria, is part of Europe’s Klett Group.
