Caretaker Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov told journalists in Panagyurishte, Southern Bulgaria, that there is no data on other amounts of the radioactive Americium 241. On Friday, 80 discs of the radioactive Americium 241 were found in the southern city of Plovdiv during a special law enforcement operation. 

The Minister specified that the operation prevented the possibility of part of the substance being exported. Ilkov assured that there is no danger to the life and health of people who live near the place where the substance was stored. He also added that two of the detainees remain in custody, and charges have been filed against them.
