All procedural action that needs to be taken will be taken. It is absurd for an administrative body to not register a political force, backed by 400,000 Bulgarian voters, said on Bulgarian National Radio MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), who is part of the faction supporting the movement's honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan.

The will of the Bulgarian citizens overrides the idea of the administrative body to restrict their right to vote, Kyuchyuk said commenting on the instructions of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to the two coalitions Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning and Democracy, Rights and Freedoms - MRF to present documents that prove that MRF is not part of their composition. They had until 5 pm on Saturday to do it.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk stressed that there is one MRF. According to him, it is not at all clear whether Delyan Peevski is a member of the MRF. "So far, I have not seen a declaration that he is a member of a local chapter," Ilhan Kyuchyuk said. For him, the answer is clear and there is no need to refer the matter to the MRF’s control commission to verify this. Kyuchyuk admitted, however, that something could be fabricated at the last minute.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk added that a principal red line for Dogan's MRF fraction will be the attitude of the parties and their leaders towards Peevski.
