Transit through the Malko Tarnovo border crossing point with Turkiye is taking place only in one lane due to checkpoint being reconstructed, the General Directorate Border Police reported on Friday morning.

Traffic is normal at the border control check points with Turkiye, North Macedonia, Serbia, Greece, and Romania.

Construction works are taking place at the Rudozem - Xanthi route on the Greek side. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the areas near Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

At the border with Romania, the works on the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse are continuing, which is why a temporary traffic organization has been introduced, with traffic being carried out in one lane with a pass-through regime.
