The Bulgarian Cultural Institute (BCI) in Berlin has unveiled its programme for March 2025, featuring a variety of cultural events, including exhibitions, performances, and literary readings.
The month will kick off with the exhibition OBJEKTiv, opening on March 3 at 7:00 PM (local time). The exhibition is dedicated to the contemporary Bulgarian poster, showcasing 32 works by artists such as Georgi Iankov, Dimitar Traychev, Lyuba Tomova, Milena Abanos, Nenko Atanasov, Nikolay Mladenov, Radoslava Boor, and Strahil Dimitrov-Radin.
On March 14, at 6:00 PM, BCI will host the puppet show The Fisherman and the Golden Fish by Dimitar Todorov. The performance, in Bulgarian, will feature set design by Diana Uzunova, a script by Theodora Popova, and music by Georgi Garchov.
The 5th edition of the literary-musical format Melody of Words will take place on March 20 at 7:00 PM. This event will give Bulgarian creators the chance to present their works live in front of the audience. The event will be conducted in Bulgarian.
On March 25, the BCI will host a concert Pictures at an Exhibition at 7:00 PM as part of the Jazz Club BCI-Berlin project. The performance will feature Konstantin Kostov Trio, with Dimitar Karamfilov on double bass, Konstantin Kostov on piano, and Hristo Yotsov on drums.
Additionally, the BCI will present Bulgaria's participation at the Leipzig Book Fair, taking place from March 27 to 30. Below is a schedule of events where Bulgarian authors will present their works:

-5:00-5:30 PM at Forum Globale Perspektiven – Home for Beginners with Emanuel A. Vidinski, hosted by Svetlozar Zhelev
-8:00-10:00 PM at UT Connewitz – Featuring Emanuel A. Vidinski and music by Ivo Dimchev
All events at the BCI in Berlin are free of charge but require pre-registration for some performances.
