site.btaTurkiye Arrests 520 in Large-Scale Drug Enforcement Operation

A total of 520 people have been arrested in a large-scale drug enforcement operation in Turkiye, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said in a post on the social network X. Codenamed NARKOÇELİK-32, the operation aimed at drug labs and dealers in 59 provinces.

The law-enforcers have seized 3.746 t of narcotics and 861,000 tablets with unspecified narcotic content.

The operation involved 3,250 law-enforcing personnel, 18 aircraft and 46 sniffer dogs.
