A total of 46 people were detained on Tuesday in a large-scale operation against the Fethullah Gulen Terrorist Organization (FETO), Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on the social media Ex.

The action against FETO supporters was carried out in 28 districts, including in Ankara and Istanbul, and 46 people were detained.

The operation was carried out within the framework of an investigation by the Ankara Prosecutor General's Office against law enforcement officials suspected of links to FETO.

Turkish President Erdogan said on Monday once again that Ankara would prosecute FETO supporters until its last member is brought to justice.

According to Turkish authorities, the FETO group of US-based Muslim preacher Fethullah Gulen was behind the coup attempt in July 2016, when 251 people were killed and more than 2,000 wounded in clashes with the coup plotters.
