One person was injured in Odesa Region during a Russian drone attack in the night, Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram on Friday.

The fire services extinguished a fire caused by fallen debris, said Kiper. Houses and garages were damaged.

Odesa Region is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians - more than 150,000-strong, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the regional capital, Odesa, while others are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
