Conditions in the high parts of the mountains are not suitable for hiking on Sunday, the Mountain Rescue Service at the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.
Fresh snow has fallen above 2,200 m. Foggy and windy conditions persist, with snowfall in some areas and rain in lower altitudes. The ski lift facilities in Borovets and Bansko are operating.
No tourist incidents have been reported over the past 24 hours.
