Foreign Ministry: No Bulgarians Reported Injured in Myanmar

No Bulgarian citizens have been reported injured in the Myanmar earthquake, which caused the collapse of a skyscraper in Bangkok, the Foreign Ministry in Sofia said on Sunday. The Bulgarian Embassy in Hanoi is monitoring the situation.

The Ministry's Crisis Centre has sent a message via its website to all Bulgarians who have registered in Thailand. So far, those who replied to it said they did not need assistance.

Should they need assistance, Bulgarian citizens in Myanmar and Thailand can contact the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Hanoi at Embassy.Hanoi@mfa.bg or on +84 24 3845 2908 (+84 24 3846 0856 outside office hours).
