October 5 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived
in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he will be on a two-day
working visit, the Council of Ministers' press service said
Saturday.
In Abu Dhabi, the Bulgarian Prime Minister was greeted by His
Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bawardi, who, in addition to
the Minister of State for Defence Affairs, is also Vice
President of the largest investment fund in the country -
Mubadala Group, and a member of the Tawazun Economic Council.
During the two-day visit, Prime Minister Borissov will meet with
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince
of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed
Forces.
The current objective of the Bulgarian delegation is to deepen
the established political dialogue and discuss possibilities for
specific forms of cooperation in the fields of investment,
economy, transport, high technology, energy, tourism and
security, the press release said.
The delegation will also include Finance Minister Vladislav
Goranov and Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov.
This working visit to Abu Dhabi is a natural continuation of the
development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and the
United Arab Emirates, after Prime Minister Borissov conducted
the first ever visit of a Bulgarian Prime Minister to the UAE in
