site.btaKvadrat 500 Art Gallery to Host Installation by Dragomir Kostadinov – PXRN

An installation entitled Fragmentation by Bulgarian artist Dragomir Kostadinov – PXRN that represents the disintegration of society will be hosted by Sofia's Kvadrat 500 Art Gallery between September 19 and October 6, the organizers reported.

According to the National Gallery's website, "The installation represents the disintegration of society, its fragmentation through the 'fission' of the Self into opposing values and emotions. Human blundering in the extreme and the pendulum of personal and group emotion are reflected in the 'special' mirror of infinity. Two half-heads, half-faces in a mirrored chamber-cube represent two polar-opposite emotions. The sculptures, cut in half and placed next to each other, recreate joy and anger. Their reflection makes each one a whole."

The exhibition was curated by Tsvetelina Anastasova. BTA is media partner of the event.
