In January, month-on-month, seasonally adjusted production in the services sector went up by 1% in the EU and by 1.5% in the eurozone, Eurostat reported here on Monday. In December 2023, output in the services sector went down by 0.1% in both the EU and the eurozone.

Bulgaria recorded an increase in service sector output by 0.8% on a monthly basis and by 3.3% year-on-year.

In January, year-on-year, production in the services sector increased by 4.1% in the EU and by 4.5% in the eurozone.
