National Assembly Committee Finalizes
2015 State Budget Bill,
2015 National Health Insurance Bill


Sofia, December 16 (BTA) - Bulgaria's National Assembly Budget
and Finance Committee Tuesday approved on second reading the
2015 State Budget Act and the 2015 National Health Insurance
Budget Bill.

Under the State Budget Bill as approved, municipalities which
implement projects under EU operational programmes and on which
financial corrections have been imposed will be eligible for
interest-free loans extended by the Finance Ministry so as to be
able to pay the amounts due to the project contractors.

The Bill increases the State guarantees that the Bulgarian
Development Bank (BDB) may furnish to 3,000 million leva,
enabling the BDB to contract financial resources from the
European Investment Bank and the World Bank for energy
renovation of multi-family residential buildings.

No substantial modifications were made in the remaining parts of
the budget bill.

At the same meeting, the Budget and Finance Committee approved
conclusively the 2015 National Health Insurance Budget Bill, a
bill to ratify an agreement between Bulgaria's Ministry of
Economy and Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy
on settlement by mutual consent of the damages in the case of
Cemeko OOD, and a bill to ratify an agreement between Bulgaria's
Ministry of Economy and Kloesters Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH
of Kempen, Germany. VI, PK/LG
