US Secretary of State to Visit Bulgaria on January 15


Sofia, January 11 (BTA) - US Secretary of State John Kerry will
visit Bulgaria on January 15 at the invitation of Bulgarian
Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov, the Foreign Ministry said in a
press release Sunday.

During their talks, Kerry and Mitov will discuss the bilateral
relations and current matters on the international agenda, with
a focus on leading topics such as regional security and
bilateral cooperation in the sphere of defence, trade and
economic ties and investments, and energy issues, the press
release reads.

The US Secretary of State will also confer with President Rosen
Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, the Foreign
Ministry said.
