Five MPs Who Intended to Quit Bulgarian Democratic Centre Group Decide Otherwise

Sofia, June 8 (BTA) - The five MPs of the parliamentary Bulgarian Democratic Centre (BDC) who on June 3 announced they were quitting, have decided to remain in the group, Parliament Chairperson Tsetska Tsacheva said, speaking at Parliament's plenary session on Wednesday.

Thus, the group will not be broken up. It will however have a new name, BDC-Popular Union.

The five MPs who intended to quit the BDC are Roumen Yonchev, Svetlin Tanchev, Borislav Iglev, Georgi Kovachev and Yavor Haitov.
