site.btaThere Is Such a People Invites All Parliamentary Parties except for GERB to Talks

July 22 (BTA) - On Thursday, in front of journalists at
the National Assembly, Filip Stanev, deputy chairman of the
parliamentary group and Stanislav Balabanov from There Is Such a
People (TISP) said that they would extend invitations for talks
to all parliamentary parties except for GERB.

TISP hopes that the invitations will be accepted and that
practical talks will be held in the coming days so that there
can be a stable government and parliament. The meetings will
most likely be held in the parliament building.

When asked how they would explain their invitations to the
Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the Bulgarian Socialist
Party, after TISP's  initial statement that they would not seek
support from the so-called ''parties of the status quo'', Stanev
answered that the pure mathematics of the configuration of the
protest parties shows that the number of deputies is
insufficient to form a 121 person majority. He explained that in
the name of the citizens' desire for stability it is necessary
to hold these consultations, otherwise a cabinet cannot be
formed.

Balabanov said: "Let's see what they will say, their ideas, what
questions they have for us, all parties will be heard except
for GERB".

According to Stanev, GERB cannot be invited to such talks,
because everything that has happened in economic and health
terms in the last 12 years is "thanks to'' GERB.
