Ro-ro Vessels Won't Pay Extra Berthing Fee
at Bechet Port


Sofia, October 4 (BTA) - No extra fee will be charged on
Bulgarian roll on/roll off ships for berthing at Bechet Port, it
emerged after a meeting of Transport Minister Nikolina
Angelkova and Liviu Dragnea, Romanian Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Administration and Regional Development in Bucharest
on Friday.

Romania considered charging a 150 euro fee.

During their meeting the two agreed to sign shortly a
cooperation memorandum for the construction of two more bridges
over Danube River, at Silistra-Calarasi and Nikopol-Turnu
Magurele.

Within her one-day working visit, Angelkova discussed a joint
Bulgarian-Romanian project for improving navigation along the
Danube with European Funds Minister Eugen Teodorovici and Dragos
Titea, State Secretary at the Transport Ministry. LI/PP
