Sofia, November 28 (BTA) - The Governing Board of the State
Agriculture Fund (SAF) Thursday relieved SAF Executive Director
Lozana Vassileva of the post and elected Roumen Porozhanov to
replace her, the Agriculture and Food Ministry said in a press
release.

Vassileva and Atanas Dobrev were elected Deputy Executive
Directors of SAF, while hitherto Deputy Directors Atidje
Alieva-Veli and Zhivko Zhivkov keep their posts. Ivanka
Bagdatova-Mizova was relieved of her post as SAF Deputy
Director.

The Governing Board also voted the portfolios of the deputy
directors of SAV. Zhivkov will be in charge of direct payments
and IT. Alieva-Veli will supervise contracting, authorization
and the the Rural Development Programme. Vassileva is in charge
of the technical inspectorate, investment and short-term lending
and agriculture market mechanisms. Dobrev will coordinate the
work under SAPARD and the Maritime and Fisheries Programme.

This is Porozhanov's second time at the position of SAF
Executive Director after he headed the Fund in March 2011 to
September 2013. He was finance minister in the caretaker cabinet
in July 2014 to November 2014. LY /ZH/
